Position Overview: As a Livestock Associate at Aquarium Depot, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our diverse range of marine life. This position requires a passion for the aquarium hobby, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stay informed about industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Livestock Care: Ensure the health and well-being of saltwater fish, invertebrates, and coral in the store.
  2. Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  3. Inventory Management: Regularly update and maintain the online livestock listing and in-store inventory.
  4. Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, advancements, and developments in the aquarium industry.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
  6. Educational Outreach: Participate in educational initiatives to share knowledge and enthusiasm for the aquarium hobby.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Previous experience in the aquarium hobby is a must.
  2. Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and address the specific needs of various marine species.
  4. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new industry trends and technologies.

  6. Physical Stamina: Capable of handling physical tasks associated with aquarium maintenance.
