Leucocheilus Tang - Acanthurus leucocheilus
Also called the Palelipped Surgeonfish, the White Face Tang has a blackish-brown body, a white band across its chest, and a bluish-white mouth. Known for its bold personality, it’s one of the more aggressive tangs in the hobby.
A 250+ gallon aquarium with strong water movement, open swimming space, and live rock is ideal. Best kept singly or with caution around other tangs.
Diet: Primarily marine seaweed and algae, with some meaty foods. Offer dried seaweed on a clip or rock at least 3x per week to maintain health and reduce aggression.
