Scooter Blenny - Synchiropus ocellatus

The Scooter Blenny, also called the Scooter Dragonet or Ocellated Dragonet, is a peaceful reef fish with a mottled brown and white body and red highlights. Males have brighter colors and a larger dorsal fin.

They do best in a 30+ gallon reef tank with live sand, plenty of rock, and calm tank mates. Multiple can be kept together if added at the same time, with a 2–3 females per male ratio.

They can be picky eaters, feeding on copepods and other small foods in the sand. Offer finely chopped meaty foods or vitamin-enriched brine shrimp.
