Directions for Use

1. Rinse thoroughly with clean freshwater or RO/DI water to remove dust
2. Use approximately 1/2 cup or 50 grams per 50 gallons of water
3. Place in a mesh filter bag, media reactor, or canister filter
4. Replace every two to four weeks depending on bioload and clarity

Directions for Use in RO System

When using as a chloramine blaster in an RO system, fill the cartridge loosely with carbon and leave approximately one quarter inch of space at the top. Do not pack the carbon tightly. Tightly packed carbon will lead to channeling or bypass, reducing the effectiveness of chloramine removal and overall filtration performance.
