VodaFlux Citric Acid Aquarium Equipment Cleaner

Over time, equipment like pumps, powerheads, and heaters in your aquarium can accumulate mineral deposits or coralline algae, which may affect their performance. Regular cleaning helps extend their lifespan and keeps them running efficiently. Simply mix a cleaning solution, soak the equipment briefly, and the buildup will begin to dissolve, making it easy to clean with minimal effort.

To make the cleaning solution, mix 4 tablespoons (approximately 57 grams) of VodaFlux Citric Acid with 1000 ml of RODI water, stirring until fully dissolved. Once ready, use a squirt bottle and brush to clean your aquarium equipment. For thicker coralline algae or stubborn buildup, soaking the equipment in the solution for a few hours may be necessary. After cleaning, discard the used solution and rinse the equipment thoroughly with RODI water to remove any leftover citric acid before placing it back into your aquarium. Unused solution can be stored indefinitely.

Note: For use outside of the aquarium. Do not add citric acid or a citric acid solution directly to your aquarium.
